Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often known as “tapping,” is a gentle, evidence-informed approach that helps release emotional distress and restore balance in the mind and body. EFT combines elements of cognitive therapy with the stimulation of specific acupressure points by tapping on the body with your fingertips.

This process helps calm the nervous system while bringing awareness to unresolved emotions, limiting beliefs, or past experiences that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or physical discomfort. By pairing focused attention with rhythmic tapping, EFT supports the release of stored emotional intensity and promotes a sense of relief and regulation.

EFT can be used for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, phobias, and everyday stress. It is a practical, empowering tool that clients can learn and use on their own, helping them feel more grounded, resilient, and in control of their emotional well-being.
